Now those who know my car realise it is not exactly the sort of vehicle that would contain GPS's, DVD players, Laptops or anything else of significant value. Or so I thought.
Last week I got the window that was broken repaired for what I thought was due to the sum total of about $9 of stolen coins from the glovebox.
Fast forward to this week and last night when I went to get something out of the boot only to realise that my spare wheel and jack have been stolen as well!
Seriously who needs a wheel and jack and decides to break into a car to flog them?
It certainly makes me wonder what other strange objects people have had stolen...

Friends of mine had their car stolen and it was eventually found parked at a train station on the other side of the city. The thieves took a few things including a couple of bottles of water from the boot. Thieving must be thirsty work.
My friend's car was stolen and they found the car with the child seats gone!
I have had cars stolen previously and one was found about 2km away parked nicely and locked. nothing missing.
When my friend was a student many moons ago driving a totally crappy car, someone broke in to steal her old tape recorder,her diary and a Cherry Ripe she had on the back seat!
She was mortified that low rent thief was reading the boring details of her 18 year old life!

I do have to edit my last comment as I was reminded that after one car theft I did have some tapes stolen and had one left behind - It was the 'cassingle' of Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby.... Yes I admit I used to own such a thing.
That should not be confessed. Ice Ice Baby- voy!
I hope whoever stole flung it in the air and used it as a clay pidgeon!
Mags - that is the sad thing. They didn't steal that! They stole just about everything BUT the cass-single
Which shows you how bad it is- even they left it behind... destroy it NOW!!
Don't worry that tape is looooooong gone.
